Redneck Ribs - Speed Painting - Alt. Medium of painting.

Time for a little fun. Watch the YouTube video : "Redneck Ribs - Speed Painting " and then give a post on what type of alternative medium you could use to create an interesting piece of artwork. The URL link is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j3pz2VgIM7E. This should be easy and fun. Think outside the box! Remember, this is part of your grade!

  1. I think that the video was pretty awesome. Almost anything can be used to do art like that, solid or liquid. Use some easy cheese or something. You could line up pencils and create a photo of different colors determined by the pencils. It would be sweet.

  2. You know that is really cool! Someone to think of using BBQ Sauce to make a painting/ picture. What would you even call that? I think it would be fun to do in art class, but messy!!! That looks like a really cool deer. And wow! you can even buy it on ebay!

  8. WOW that was actually pretty good. how long would that have taken them to do?! Well I hate BBQ so I couldn't do it. But that takes some skill. I bet now people can make art out of anything.. We should try making a painting out of like Olive Garden Dressing.

  9. I think that was pretty flippin sweet not going to lie to you. But on the other hand Maggie lied to you. She would use a human template :) JUST KIDDING. But anywho, I could see myself using roast beef to create a fatal accident between a squirrel and a Bently.
You folks have a wonderful day.

  23. How could he just pull that out of now where? That was an amazing picture. I think it takes real art skillz to do something like that free hand with just an image in your head. I always need a picture to look off of. The bbq sauce looked really good.

  28. It was really cool and a creative idea. I like how he started with nothing and knew where to shade to get the exact look that he wanted. However, I hate BBQ, so most of what I thought about during the video was how bad it would smell.

  29. that was really cool.i tought it was a good idea and that he knew where to put the BBQ and where to shade it.it turne out really good for doing it in BBQ

    ReplyDelete
  39. I think that would end up being a lot harder then it looks, so it makes it more empressive. It also reminds me of people that do sand art.

    ReplyDelete
