MORE - Art in Unusual Places

This week's blog is another video similiar to last weeks. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS WATCH! Then post a response that shows me that you did watch it. Mention one thing about the stop motion annimation video that someone else hasn't already mentioned. A friend sent me this link and I thought it was so-o-o cool that I just wanted you to see it. This is something that could easily be done with any computer and a little time. Here is the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uad17d5hR5s
Have fun watching. It repeats so it's really only about 3 or 4 minutes.
Have a great week.

  5. This video was very cool. I liked the way they filmed it to make it seem like all of that stuff was actually moving as they were painting it! It was like they were creating an animated film, but without the actual animation stuff. It looks like that took forever to make, too! I agree with Matthew; the thing with the feet getting bigger and bigger was awesome!!

  6. That was sweet and must have taken a long time i like when he drew a paint bucket and then made it look like it was spilling out!!!

  7. I thought that the video was unique because people dont just go out and draw on buildings.
I liked that they made the eyes change everytime. The eyes that went back and fourth was my favorite.

  8. That was awesome.
I liked when the fish burped out all that stuff.
At least i think it was a fish.
And I think it was burping.
Whatever it was, it was sweet.

  12. This is Mr. V. Remember, you must post something about the video or something you saw in the video to get the 10 pts. It cannot be something that someone else has written!

  13. That was cool how at the beggining they made the three D stuff and it totally looked like windows. OMG and when the hand moved across the building!!!! THAT WAS SUPER DUPER AMAZING.

  14. this video was amazing i like how it kinda showed a story. but wouldnt it be a waste of paint to just paint over things right after you do it and paint something else? They were really good at painting and i did think that the painted faces were a little weird and creepy though.

  15. it was cool, but a huge waste of paint. It saddens my soul seeing all the paint goin to waste once it gets painted over. But all in all it is pretty darn cool especially how they used everything in the location as a part of the painting. good usage of location, bad usage of paint

  19. i think it was pretty cool how the legs came out of others. but i also blame this guy for global warming, i mean it takes a lot of industrial work to supply that much paint

  20. My favorite part was when the blue streak shot out of the skull's eyes. I wouldn't want to do that because it would be a waste of time. If they had something important to do im pretty sure they didnt get it done while they were working on this. This video makes me want to say "get a life", but that may be their life.

  26. I thought the very end part when the bucket was spilling was the best part. I am curious to know how much money they were paid to do this or if it was just for fun.

  27. the spider crawling out of the gutter was just creepy and that hand that crawls along reminds me of a stupid horror movie i saw.

    ReplyDelete
  35. i didnt think it was very good either. some of the things were pretty cool though. i did like the mouth at the beginning. overall....not that great!!

    ReplyDelete
  36. I enjoyed the fact that the mouth seemed operational and that they could make it look like it was moving and using all the motor skills of someone that is stuck in the concrete and still alive living with a well for a mouth.

  37. This video was neat. they are very creative. the spiders creep me out. :/. ewww. overall neat because of the speed of the video.

  38. I liked the 2 eyes and mouth in the brick wall. They kept taking out bricks and then fast forwarding and rewinding. It was pretty cool how they edited.

  39. i agree with matthew i like the feet as they get bigger and bigger

  40. I thought this video was very differnt and interesting because who would ever thought that you would be bored and go out and draw different pictures on building for fun. Yes, it would be very fun and rush feeling but very fun.

  41. It seems like it would take forever, but it would be worth it. It all looks so real. You would have too have alot of free time too do that.

  42. wow that was pretty intense. i woudl love to be involved with something like that. when the spider thing came out of the pipe it freaked me out. that wasn't that cool.

  43. Did everyone have a good weekend?
I went and saw the Michael Jackson movie "This is it". I totally recommend seeing it with friends! Even if you aren't a fan of Micheal Jackson like me, after you watch the movie, you totally change your perspective of him.
I thought he his behavior was inapropriate and I didn't think much about his music until I watched the movie.

  44. I really liked the egg art and the cheetos. I enjoyed it all, and thought they were all cool, but I don't think I could ever make a sculpture out of balloons, or paint a picture on the sidewalk! I would like to make a sculpture out of food or something like cheetos. That was cool and I'd like to know how they did it. Or even the bubblegum! I think it'd be fun.
